Evesham Beekeepers Association is an enthusiastic group of local beekeepers from Evesham and the surrounding villages who meet during throughout the year to promote the pursuit of beekeeping in our district.

The Association is keen to recruit new members and encourage interest in beekeeping. More experienced members are pleased to explain the practice and theory behind beekeeping and offer advice to would-be beekeepers.

The Association runs a branch apiary at Pershore college.

The Association will assign a nearby beekeeper to provide help and advice to new members.

The Association also has a variety of extraction and other equipment available for the free use of members and is able to obtain many bee supplies for members at discounted prices.  Association membership also includes free bee disease insurance on the first 2 hives.

The Association is itself affiliated to the British Beekeeping Association and has access to its resources at the National Centre at Stoneleigh. Membership includes public liability insurance.

With about 80 members currently, the Association is among the most active of the county and also arranges apiary meetings at member’s apiary each summer and has a number of other social or educational meetings in the course of the year.
