A Pair of Busy Beekeepers

Sue & Graham Mullens are long time beekeepers dedicated to their vocation with beekeeping. As valued long term members of the Evesham Beekeepers Association it seems only fitting that they are commended here for the valued commitment they both make to all members with sound off the cuff advice they give to both old and newcomers. For the privilege of being able to call at their home at any time for essential supplies and the warm welcome they give which at times must be inconvenient for them! One time Secretary Sue and now Vice Chairman keeps very busy with arranging her family life but still finds time to keep stocks available for members whilst Graham is kept busy with his own hives, nevertheless always at hand to help the association whatever is on the agenda. Sue made headlines in The Evesham Journal in 1993 where she stated that by inheriting 5 hives with a house purchase 28yrs previously both she and Graham wondered what to do with them? From novices to committed beekeepers is a wonderful achievement. Special thanks go out to Sue and Graham.
