Evesham Beekeepers’ Association (EBKA) is a Branch of the Worcestershire Beekeepers’ Association (WBKA charity no. 245946) and part of the British Beekeeping Association (BBKA).
Established since 1933, the aim of EBKA is to:
Encourage and educate beekeepers.
Protect and promote pollinators.
Celebrate locally produced honey.
We welcome new members at any time of year, whether you are a beekeeper, thinking of becoming one, or just interested in honeybees and want to be part of a like-minded group.

Membership of Worcestershire Beekeepers’ Association (WBKA).
Membership of the British Beekeepers’ Association (BBKA) which gives public liability insurance, and the monthly BBKA News magazine.
Insurance for up to 3 hives provided by Bee Disease Insurance Ltd (further cover can be purchased).
Access to a full programme of workshops, guest speakers, and apiary sessions throughout the year.
Training sessions at the association apiary with instruction from members.
Access to EBKA loan equipment.
Beginners are teamed up with a local beekeeping buddy to offer friendly advice and support.
Members can benefit from swarms when they occur.

There are different levels of membership to suit individuals. Membership fees depend upon the number of hives you have and your category of membership.
Full membership – for active beekeepers. Full members enjoy membership of the BBKA, receive bee disease insurance for 3 hives, and public liability insurance.
Partner membership – for beekeepers resident at the same address as a full member. Bee disease insurance cover is optional.
Junior membership – for under 18s with bees in their own right. Junior members are welcome at all meetings but do not have voting rights.
Junior membership of EBKA only – for under 18s who only wish to be registered with EBKA (not WBKA or BBKA). They are welcome at all meetings, but do not have voting rights.
Associate membership – for adults who do not (yet) have bees, or beekeepers who are members of another Association but wish to join EBKA in order to attend meetings, and be on the emailing list. Associate members are welcome at all meetings but do not have voting rights.
Country membership – usually selected by beekeepers that are no long actively keeping bees, but wish to stay abreast of EBKA activities, attend meetings, and enjoy membership of the BBKA.
